Events are a significant feature in Igloovy, allowing you to engage with your community in an immersive manner.

How to Create an Event

  1. Access Event Settings:

    • In your circle settings area, locate and click on the 'Event' button.

  2. Event Management:

    • View all your events or initiate a new event creation by clicking on 'Create Event' at the top right of the screen.

  3. Event Details:

    • Enter a name for your event and select suitable options for the building ('Classroom') and role ('Everyone').

  4. Description and User Management:

    • Provide a detailed description of what the event is about.

    • If necessary, block specific users from your circle by adding their usernames in the block field.

  5. Set Duration and Dates (Optional):

    • Use the hour and minute buttons to set the event's duration.

    • Set specific dates for the event using the 'Specific day of the week', 'Specific day of the month', and 'Specific month' buttons. It's suggested to skip this for the first event to keep it simple.

  6. Activate Event:

    • Ensure the active checkbox is ticked. This step is crucial as it makes your event accessible to users.
